Account Coordinator

We’re seeking a highly organized and creative individual who thrives on collaboration and takes proactive steps to drive project progression. Reporting to the Owner/Head of Sales, you’ll maintain constant communication with internal departments to facilitate new business development and oversee existing client relationships. This position is based in our new office in beautiful Charleston, SC, with the option for hybrid work after 90 days.

Responsibilities

Client Communication and Management:

  • Manage day-to-day communication with clients.
  • Prepare for client meetings, contribute ideas, and follow up afterward.
  • Manage client expectations clearly.
  • Ensure the highest level of client service.
  • Lead all communication with clients regarding order issues and promptly resolve complaints.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.

Sales and Production:

  • Create client estimates, proposals, and presentations.
  • Translate client requests into meaningful briefs for creative teams.
  • Price projects according to established standards.
  • Create sales orders and purchase orders.
  • Work closely with the Production and Design teams to confirm accurate order entry and updates.

Creative Development:

  • Generate concepts and ideas for clients.
  • Contribute to internal product brainstorming sessions.

Supplier Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate with suppliers to check pricing and inventory levels and discuss print techniques.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on new concepts.
  • Attend occasional trade shows and client events.
  • Attend vendor meetings as requested, in person or virtually.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of retail and corporate online stores.
  • Perform order-related administrative duties (e.g., managing outgoing fulfillment mailings, organizing samples, delivering goods).
  • Maintain client details and ensure data is updated accurately.
  • Keep accurate and current account notes using the company’s CRM and messaging software.

Compensation

This compensation for this position is a Base Salary + Commission.

Base salary – $35,000 USD

Commission – Based on sales you’ve assisted on or brought in yourself.

Totaling approx (but not limited to) $50,000 – $95,000 USD

Growth opportunity to move to account manager for the right person.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related field
preferred.
  • Proficiency in Mac platform and Google Apps (Mail, Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.). Slack, Commonsku and Motion are a plus.
  • Previous experience in an agency environment preferred.
