Executive Assistant

We’re currently looking for an executive assistant to be a supportive force who empowers our senior leadership. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. This person should have experience working in an office environment, performing administrative duties, and providing support to managers. 

This is a part-time (20 hours per week) position based in our new office in beautiful North Charleston, SC.

Responsibilities

  • Support the CEO primarily and provide additional support to executive team members, as directed, to ensure that company goals and objectives are accomplished and that operations run efficiently.
  • Manage communication with employees by liaising with internal and external executives on various projects and tasks
  • Plan and orchestrate work to ensure that senior executives’ priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld
  • Help maintain marketing databases and CRM systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Provide administrative support to internal departments, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports.
  • Perform order-related administrative duties (e.g., managing outgoing fulfillment mailings, organizing samples, delivering goods).

      Compensation

      • The compensation for this position is hourly.
      • Range based on experience – $18-20/hr. USD

      Experience + Requirements

      Education:

      • College degree or equivalent work experience.

      Software:

      • Proficient in Mac platform and Google Apps (Mail, Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.).
      • Slack or similar communication software is a plus.

      Physical Requirements:

      This is sedentary work requiring the exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects; work requires reaching, grasping, and repetitive motions; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word, and conveying detailed or important instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken work levels and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or make fine distinctions in sound; visual acuity is required for color perception, preparing and analyzing written or computer data, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities; the worker is not subject to adverse environmental conditions.
